MDX Fundamentals

Version: IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 server 2.0.9.20 and Planning Analytics Workspace 2.1.11.

This course provides training on using Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) to retrieve a list of members in a dimension or analyze cube data within IBM Planning Analytics. This understanding of MDX empowers end users by offering additional controls, enhancing their ability to build reports in Excel and create dashboards in Workspace.

• How to get a member’s attribute
• How to sort members
• How to combine sets
• How to get a cube’s view
